Lee Shulman’s The Anonymous Project began with a chance eBay purchase and has grown into a collection of over 700,000 anonymous images. This curated selection of 300 slides from the 1940s to the 1970s offers an intimate look at lives through the lens of skilled amateur photographers. While the people and places may be unknown, the emotions and stories in these snapshots are universally relatable.
